Congratulations to the Educators who have been recognised for their dedication, commitment and skill in early childhood education, by being finalists in this year’s Fraser Coast’s Favourite Childcare Educator Awards run by the Courier Mail.
Ten Educators from Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Maryborough have been honoured in this year’s awards by being nominated and finalists. Congratulations to all the Educators nominated from Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Maryborough for this amazing achievement.
Let’s get to know our award finalists a little better…
Kate Bell
Kate is in our Junior Kindy Classroom at Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten. She loves being able to explore different aspects of the children’s minds and prides herself on creating a safe place for them to learn and thrive in. She has been in the industry for three years and has successfully achieved her Diploma of Early Childhood Education.
Jett Miller
In our Pre-Kindy Classroom we have Jett Miller, who enjoys being a positive role model for children and creating a safe environment for children to develop new skills through play. Jett is currently studying his Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and has been in the industry for two years.
Gracie Stone
Our next award finalist is in our Tiny Tots Classroom and is currently studying her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education. Gracie has also been in the industry for two years and loves building strong connections with the children and families. In particular, she loves seeing the little ones in our Tiny Tots Classroom grow and develop.
Renee Skeels-Piggins
Renee is also in our Tiny Tots Classroom with Gracie and has been in the industry for three years. She is has achieved her Diploma of Early Childhood Education. Renee loves watching children grow, flourish and being a part of their learning story.
Zali Meredith
Zali is an Educator in our Nursery Classroom and has been in the industry for four years. She is a Diploma qualified Educator and what she loves most about her role is growing and learning with the children in her care. You can never stop learning, even as an adult!
Rebecca Sulivan
Also teaching in our Nursery Classroom is Rebecca. What Rebecca loves most about her job is being able to make a positive impact on children’s lives that leave core memories. She has achieved her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and has been in the industry for 15 years.
Shelby Tobin
What Shelby finds the most rewarding about her job is watching the children grow through interacting and engaging experiences and it is Shelby’s responsibility as an Educator to provide this for them. Shelby has achieved her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and has been in the industry for three years. She is the Educator in our Junior Kindy Classroom at Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Maryborough.
Jessica Latta
Our award finalist Jessica is an Educator in our Toddler Classroom. She is currently Certificate III qualified and is currently studying her Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Jessica has been in the industry for 14 years now and has loved every minute it of it. She finds the most rewarding part of her role is being able to watch the children progress and explore their own autonomy.
Shari Banfield
Shari is also located in our Toddler Classroom and loves building relationship with the children and their families. Shari is Diploma qualified and has been in the industry for two and a half years.
Kellie Muller
Last, but definitely not least is Kellie Muller. Kellie works across all our Classrooms as she is an expert as creating bonds with children quickly. She has been in the industry for twelve years now and has achieved her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education. Kellie loves watching children grow and develop and being able to support the families when they aren’t able to be with their children throughout their daily learning.
At Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Maryborough, our caring and passionate Educators are the heart of our childcare centre. Our Educators are dedicated to each child’s individual learning journey, and promote a sense of belonging to ensure that every child feels welcome and safe whilst in our care.
While most people don’t remember much from when we were little, most of us can remember that special Educator who helped us feel safe, protected, loved and of course helped us develop a lifelong love of learning.
This is why we believe this amazing achievement should be recognised and celebrated by the entire Fraser Coast community. We are also calling for you to vote and support your favourite Educator from Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Maryborough from the list of finalists.
